A well-educated and grown up girl can play an important role in the development of the country. An educated girl can share the load and burden of the men in different fields. A well-educated girl if not forced to marry in her early age, can serve as writer, teacher, advocate, doctor, and scientist.

One of the most important benefits of girl education is that the country’s future will be brighter and better. Similarly, our economy can grow faster if more and more women become financially strong thereby reducing poverty. Furthermore, women who are educated can take proper care of their children.

Mandatory education of girl child and ensuring that each one of them is sent to school is a grand step towards woman empowerment. An educated woman can well take care of her own needs as well as the needs of her family. They get more say in the political and social setup and are more recognized.

There is a need to make urgent policy measures and necessary changes in laws to safeguard the interests of women. The term women empowerment is used to refer to the empowerment of women by providing them education and equal growth and employment opportunities equivalent to the men in society.
